Arrigoni East and Arrigoni West programs continue to provide safe, supportive, and recovery-focused Housing Support with Supplemental Services and are among Minnesota’s most tenured recovery supportive housing for people recovering from substance use and mental health disorders.
Arrigoni was started by Virginia Arrigoni in 1973. After receiving treatment and entering recovery, Arrigoni committed her life to helping other people who needed supportive housing after completing treatment. Like NUWAY® founders, Arrigoni realized that supportive housing is essential to accessing the stability, services, and fellowship vital to lasting recovery. So committed was Arrigoni to her mission that she turned her own home into a recovery-supportive halfway house. Today, Arrigoni East and Arrigoni West continue to help residents remain in recovery and help give them a foundation of safe housing from which to thrive.
NUWAY Recovery Foundation, part of the NUWAY Alliance, is committed to continuing and growing the Arrigoni vision and the tradition of excellence for which Arrigoni is known.
