Erin graduated from St. Cloud State University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Community Psychology. Her first position in the field begun as a Mental Health Practitioner working with adults with mental health disorders and teaching them the skills to become integrated into the community from hospital or group home settings. She noticed a pattern of addiction being co-occurring with mental health symptoms. Erin returned to school in 2018 to later obtain her Master of Arts in Counseling & Psychological Services and Master’s Certificate in Addiction Studies from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota to further her understanding of co-occurring disorders. Along with her LADC, Erin is also receiving clinical supervision to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Her clinical interests are trauma, relationships and mental health and substance use disorders. Erin combines strength-based, cognitive-behavioral and person-centered therapy to assisting with clients with regaining the self-esteem and confidence to rebuild a happy life and healthy relationships. In her free time she enjoys kayaking, camping, cooking and hanging out with her family.
