Calissa is currently a LADC, working in admissions at 2118 NUWAY Counseling Center. She has obtained her bachelor's degree in Alcohol and Drug Studies, and minor in Psychology, from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Calissa’s professional goals are to obtain a master’s degree in Mental Health Psychology and become a LPCC. Calissa has previous work experience with women and mothers in residential treatment and other co-occurring outpatient services. She is passionate about helping clients who struggle with co-occurring disorders by utilizing individual strengths and encouraging clients to advocate for their needs. In her free time, Calissa enjoys drinking iced coffee, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
