Laynie K., MA, LADC

Counselor

Laynie received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in 2021 and her Master of Arts in Addiction Counseling and Integrated Recovery for Co-Occurring Disorders from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies in 2023. Laynie completed her 880-hour internship at NUWAY II in Minneapolis and NUWAY-Mankato's IOP location. She is currently an LADC and working toward her supervision hours for her LPCC, in order to provide clients with integrated care for both mental health and substance use disorders. Her clinical approach utilizes Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing that is culturally adapted, trauma informed, and strength-based. Outside of work, Laynie enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors.
