Jamie H., MSW, LADC

CounselorJamie has her Master’s of Social Work from St. Catherine’s University, and certificate in Alcohol and Drug Counseling from Rochester Community and Technical College. Prior to NUWAY, Jamie has worked in a variety of IOP co-occurring treatment settings treating both adult men and women struggling with addiction and providing case management services to those transitioning back into the community. Within counseling she considers a whole person perspective in how she may assist someone in reaching their recovery goals. Jamie is passionate about providing gender-specific programming and serving those with criminal justice involvement. She practices from shame resilience and relational-cultural theories. In her spare time Jamie enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, and traveling.
