Vanessa Kissinger, MA, LADC

Program ManagerVanessa comes to NUWAY with 7+ years of experience working in the recovery community. Vanessa is a person in long term recovery and has an advocates heart for those struggling with addiction. Vanessa graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Alcohol and Drug Counseling from Metropolitan State University in 2014. After a few years of working as an LADC she realized there is a need for more awareness for those struggling with addiction and completed her Masters in Advocacy and Political Leadership in 2018 at Metropolitan State University. Vanessa is passionate about advocating for clients and enjoys the process of watching clients identify strengths from within. In her spare time, Vanessa can be found at the gym training for a triathlon, getting lost in a book while sipping an iced coffee at a local coffee shop or planning a spur of the moment vacation.
