Scott currently is completing the Integrative Behavioral Health (IBH) master’s degree program at the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities, specializing in co-occurring substance use and mental health care disciplines. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Iowa State University, Ames, IA, in 1995. In addition to earning his LADC, he continues to pursue his LPCC credentials. His behavioral health experience includes working in residential and outpatient clinical environments, with significant coaching and consulting experience over his career. Scott is active in the Twin Cities recovery community, and is passionate about serving LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and clients in underserved populations. His hobbies include bikepacking, hiking, swimming, listening to music, meditation, dog training, bicycle maintenance, and DIY projects.
