Karen obtained her Master of Arts at the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies in 2015. She began working as an addiction counselor in the twin cities while continuing to study at Hazelden, completing her LPCC in 2017. She is passionate about working with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders, and encourages clients to be curious about their symptoms.
