Ashley has an Associate of Science in Addiction Counseling from Minneapolis College, a Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies from Metropolitan State University and is a Certified Prevention Professional. Her passion is to promote recovery through advocacy, education, and demonstrating the power and proof of long-term recovery. Her clinical interests include solution-focus therapy, creative art expression, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care. Additionally, Ashley is a fitness and nutrition enthusiast and believes regular exercise and nourishing the body with healthy food are critical components of a healthy recovery lifestyle. In her free time, Ashley enjoys attending kickboxing class, painting, and blog writing for The Sober Curator.
