Alex received his Associate of Science in Addiction Counseling from Minneapolis College in May of 2023. He plans to complete his bachelor’s degree in 2024 at Metropolitan State University in Alcohol and Drug Counseling. Alex has worked in various roles within the residential setting. He previously worked with the Minnesota Department of Human Services at a C.A.R.E. facility as a paraprofessional and at NUWAY I as a Lead CD Tech. Alex specializes in a Person-Centered Narrative Therapy to elicit the client’s internal motivation for lasting change and achieving their visions for their lives. Alex enjoys playing slow-pitch softball, disc golf, spending time with his daughter and reading recovery related literature, to name a few.
