Joy obtained her Practical Nursing Degree in 2004 From Orleans Niagara University in NY. Her nursing career began in the NY State Department of Corrections where she was a nurse for 10 years. Prior to working with NUWAY, Joy pursued a career as a travel nurse serving many different demographic populations in emergency and cardiac step down, MAT treatment programs, high-intensity residential treatments as a nurse manager, and outpatient settings. She continued her education at the University of Buffalo and completed her BSN through Purdue Global where she continues to study psychology in addictions. Joy has a passion and commitment to serving others. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her children and grandchildren and long motorcycle rides.
