Joe P., MA, LADC

CounselorJoe joined the St. Paul NUWAY Counseling Center staff in July 2021 to support the ever-growing aftercare program. Earning his MA at the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies, Joe is a licensed drug and alcohol counselor (LADC).  Trained to work with individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, Joe is currently completing supervision hours to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Having worked in a variety of professional fields prior to embarking on his counseling journey, Joe brings a depth and breadth of experience to go well with his passion for service. When attending to his self-care, Joe enjoys spending time with family, reading, writing, and dreaming of a day when the New York Mets show the resilience and courage of our clients.
