Danielle Johnson, MPS, LPCC, LADC

Admissions SupervisorDanielle obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She obtained her Master of Professional Studies in Integrated Behavioral Health from the University of Minnesota. In addition to providing counseling for substance use (LADC), she is also licensed to provide counseling for a variety of mental health disorders (LPCC). She has experience working as a therapist in the Department of Corrections, as well as residential treatment facilities for adults with substance use and mental health concerns. Danielle has a passion for working with individuals from diverse backgrounds to address their co-occurring needs, as well as to help individuals reach their goals through learning how to help themselves. She works from a person-centered and strengths-based approach, encouraging clients to build on their inherent strengths and to advocate for their needs. In her free time, she enjoys reading, watching The Office, and playing with her cat.
