NUWAY is a primary sponsor and participant in the annual “Walk for Recovery,” an event organized by Minnesota Recovery Connection that attracts thousands of people to the state capital each year to raise awareness and reduce stigma. This year’s “walk” will be a virtual event to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19. Pictures and stories submitted by people affected by substance use disorders and those living in active recovery will be on display at the Minnesota state capital grounds from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 19. Attendees must pre-register.
