September is Recovery Month, and NUWAY Alliance is a long-standing sponsor of recovery-supportive events that raise awareness and treatment access across Minnesota. NUWAY Alliance Community Relations Manager Amy Stephan was interviewed by KEYC News while volunteering at Mankato’s Recovery Walk event.
“I feel like there is a lot of collaboration down in this area. It’s a really great recovery community. So, I think the more we are together, the more people we’re going to be able to help,” says Stephan. Amy’s comments reflect a vital aspect of helping people recover — supportive community connections. NUWAY Alliance continues a 57-year mission of helping people with low recovery capital access treatment, recovery-supportive housing, fellowship, and the complete care continuum.
