CounselorMegan graduated from Southwest Minnesota State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She completed her Alcohol and Drug Counseling Certificate at Ridgewater College in 2015. Along with her LADC she is attending Winona State University to become a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). She will be working at the Rochester, MN location and is very excited to continue her education and supervision towards becoming dually licensed to better serve the needs of those struggling with co-occurring disorders. Prior to her role at NUWAY, Megan has experience in both residential treatment and a Recovery High School where she has worked with adults, adolescents, and families to address challenges related to substance abuse. Her approach is person-centered and strengths-based, and her clinical interests include family systems, trauma, and the integration of mental and substance use.
