Chris is currently finishing his 2nd practicum and his Associate of Science degree in Addiction Counseling from Minneapolis Community and Technical College. He plans to work in the field as an ADC-T while attending Metropolitan State University to finish his Bachelor of Science in Social Work. He began working as a tech at Hazelden Betty Ford Adolescent Center in 2019 and found that he could build rapport with clients quickly in their struggles with addiction and mental health and identify client's motivation for change. Chris brings passion and energy to groups and individual sessions that provide a safe, person-centered environment and meets people where they are at. When not at work, Chris loves to spend time with his two daughters, listen to music, play guitar, sing, and do outside activities like mountain biking, hiking, and enjoying the great outdoors anywhere and everywhere.
