Residential Admissions CounselorIn 2018 Addie graduated from the University of North Dakota where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She was not sure what she wanted to do after college but knew she wanted to serve others. She began working as a tech at the Hazelden Betty Ford Adolescent facility in Plymouth, MN in 2019. From there, she found a passion for helping those struggling with the disease of addiction and mental health. In December 2021, Addie graduated from the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies where she received her Masters in Addiction Counseling. She completed her last internship in the fall of 2021 at the NUWAY-University location doing mental health and comprehensive assessments. Addie will soon be licensed as an LADC and currently working towards her LPCC licensure. Her goal is to provide clients with a space that is open, safe, validating, and judgement free. In Addie's free time, she loves snuggling with her dog, spending time with friends and family, and staying physically active.
