Ruet (pronounced as Root) graduated from University of Minnesota-Morris with a major of Biology and a minor in Sociology. She worked as a medical scribe in Unity Hospital Fridley where she witnessed a large low-income POC patient population with CD/MI. She received her certificate in Addiction Counseling from Century College. Ruet began her career working with CD and MI IOP for African immigrant community at East African Healing Services. Ruet places professional emphasis on people centered holistic care and accountability. She has experience working with adults and is currently gaining experience working with adolescents with CD/MI issues and their families. She enjoys reading, running, people watching, sketching, and painting.
