Jacorey is a New Mexican native who has been living in Minnesota for the last 20 years. Jacorey has been working in the human service field in the Twin Cities for the past 17 years working with youth experiencing homelessness, people living with HIV, people who deal with substance use, LGBTQIA identified people, people who are dealing with mental health symptoms, and people with co-occurring substance use and mental health disabilities. Jacorey received his bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Southern New Hampshire University and his Master of Professional Studies in Addiction studies from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. Jacorey strongly believes in client centered and client driven work. He is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Integrated Behavioral Health at the University of Minnesota. In his free time Jacorey loves swimming, reading, and hanging out with his dogs.
