Brittni K., MA, LADC

CounselorBrittni received a Master of Arts in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy with an emphasis in co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders from Adler Graduate School in 2019. She also received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She is currently a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and will be working towards obtaining her supervision hours to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Brittni has worked in the Human Services industry for the past 10 years. Prior to joining NUWAY, Brittni has had experience working in adult foster care settings, as well as working as a community-based case manager for adults, for the last several years. Brittni has experience working with dual-diagnosis disorders, diverse populations, and working with an extended multi-disciplinary team. Brittni uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques as part of her practice and believes in utilizing a person-centered approach to treatment and care. Outside of work, Brittni enjoys spending time with friends and family (especially her 2 cats) and traveling as much as possible.
