Co-Occurring Counselor – LicensedKrystle has been in the co-occurring field since 2011. She obtained her Master of Art degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University in 2017. She finished her undergraduate work at Metropolitan State University, where she completed a degree in Alcohol and Drug Counseling. She is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She has worked in various levels of chemical dependency and mental health treatment from long-term residential homeless shelter, residential, outpatient, to Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT). Krystle has been trained in AIR Network, Eye Movement and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Attachment Focused EMDR, Harm-Reduction, Stefanie Covington’s Beyond Trauma curriculum, and Motivational Interviewing. Krystle enjoys working with a wide variety of individuals. Her specific areas of interest include working with people who have exposure to trauma, co-occurring mental illness, and substance use disorders. She practices from a strength-based, person-centered, multicultural, and feminist-informed counseling lens.
